Asbury plays host to a handful of different support groups. Scroll down to read descriptions and if you are interested in any of our groups, please fill out the form to the right.

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) Open

Anyone is welcome. Only requirement is a desire to stop drinking. Members will enable others to “stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety. Meets on Saturdays @ 8:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

Al-anon

Worldwide fellowship that offers a program of recovery for the families and friends of alcoholics, whether or not the alcoholic recognizes the existence of a drinking problem. The group meets on Wednesdays at 10am - 12pm in Room #15.

“His Way” Christian Recovery

Meets every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in Room #11.

NAMI

The National Alliance on Mental Illness is a grass roots organization serving persons with mental illness and their families through support, education and advocacy.

The group meets on Tuesdays @ 6:30 p.m. in room #14 and #15.

Interested patients, caregivers, family members and friends are encouraged to join. The group meets on the second Monday of each month @ 6:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

Recovery International teaches cognitive-behavioral coping tools to manage the stress, anxiety and anger that arise from everyday life.
