WHAT TO EXPECT
We know visiting a new church for the first time can feel a little uncertain. Here's what your Sunday morning at Asbury looks like.
COME AS YOU ARE
There's no dress code at Asbury. You'll find people in everything from suits to shorts. What matters is that you're here. Dress for your own comfort.
SERVICES RUN ABOUT 60 MINUTES
Both the 9:30 and 11:00 am services are approximately one hour. Afterward, we'd love for you to grab a cup of coffee and stay a while — but there's never any obligation.
THE MESSAGE IS FOR EVERYONE
Our pastors preach from the Bible in a way that's honest, practical, and never condescending. You don't need any background knowledge to connect with the message.
For Families
Safe, fun, and age-appropriate kids’ ministry at 9:30 and kids welcome to sit with parents at 11:00. Our staff and volunteers are background checked and follow our Child and youth protection policy to keep kids safe.
Questions about children’s ministry? Reach out to our Children’s Director, Laura Molloy.
Nursery (ages 1-4)
Staffed by paid nursery workers during both services. A safe, caring space for your littlest ones.
Located in the Asbury Early Learning Center
Kids Ministry @ 9:30 (Ages 5-11)

COMMON QUESTIONS
-
Absolutely not. People from all faith backgrounds — and people with no church background at all — are welcome at Asbury. We're a United Methodist congregation, but our doors are open to everyone. Come curious.
-
Whatever you're comfortable in. On any given Sunday you'll see everything from business casual to shorts and a polo. There is absolutely no dress code. Wear what makes you feel at home.
-
It depends on what you're looking for. The 9:30 am Celebration Service in the Fellowship Hall features a live band and contemporary worship. The 11:00 am Traditional Service in the Sanctuary includes choir, organ, and hymns. Both share the same message — just a different style of worship. Try both and see which one feels like home.

Yes! We livestream on both Facebook and YouTube. You can watch on Facebook even without an account. Our YouTube channel also archives past sermons if you want to get a feel for the teaching before you visit.
-
Yes! While we provide nursery at both services (ages 1-4) and kids ministry during the 9:30 service, we encourage kids in worship! Babies crying and kids squirming are signs of life in a church. If you need to get up and move around or walk out for a minute you are welcome to do so.
